location troubles

i think the location we chose was good but i did not take into account the amount of people that actually use All Saints passage. in some ways the busy city scene adds something to the thriller but it is very distracting and annoying when pedestrians decide to look straight at the camera or get in the way of the actors moving about. In total it took about 2 and a half hours to completely film the scene because we had to wait for people to move past the camera and have as little sound as possible before we could start filming. i think the location was good because All Saints is a fairly small passsage way where someone could easily get robbed if it weren't so crowded which really is the sort of feeling we wanted to give not having the character being robbed while 5+ pedestrians wander past wondering what we're doing.
